Allan Gardens is a gem. I used to spend many hours there with my young son many years ago, it was our refuge. A place to feast our eyes on colour during the long winter gray months, a place a kid can run around and his mother can read a few pages or talk to strangers.
Today we wondered in, sat on a bench, enjoyed the scented warm air and the abundance of blooms all around us. The sun came in through the glass roof and we wasted an hour away there so easily.
I should go there more often.
These Jade flowers are so curious and seem unreal. I have no idea what they are but I always look for them there, never seen them anywhere else. The look like dragon's claws.
