We were x-country skiing this afternoon and my friend said, when we stopped to admire the snowy hill, the sun lighting the cloudy sky, all sweaty from the hard work of going up the hill and the fear of crushing down (me - the inexperienced one):

"To be out in nature and be able to feel hot in your body when the weather is cold, this is what it means to be alive".
