It's been a year since I opened my little shop around the corner, gone by very quickly. I'll just say that I've enjoyed the ups and braved through the downs with hopes for a bright future for me and you. Lets hope more birthdays are to come.
The things I love the most about what I'm doing is meeting the people who come by and open their hearts (and their closets, and wallets) and share some parts of themselves with me. I can't say why it gives me joy, to listen to the stories and share some of my life with those who ask, but it does. Perhaps I'm not the misanthrope I believed myself to be after all.
Should I have a birthday party for the shop? I could invite all my loyal customers to come wearing their favorite outfits from RM. Hmmm, I'll think about that.
